CLAUDIA CRABUZZA – CATALAN FOLK FROM SARDINIA

A Singer and a songwriter, who travelled for a while between Europe and Mexico.

Since the year 2000, she is the founder of the “Chichimeca”, produced by Tajrà – indie label of Cagliari; releasing the albums: “Barbari” and “Luce- nur and Cuore?”. Collaborating with the acustic guitarist Caterinangela Fadda, the duo founded the “Violeta Azul”, a tribute to the authors of the New American song. In 2010, both musicians got awarded the Premio Maria Carta. She released the album “Un home del paìs” in 2012, in which she reinterprets the songs of the singer-songwriter Alghero Pino Piras, who disappeared in ‘89. Over the years, Claudia has collaborated as an interpreter and author with various artists of the national scene; such as Tazenda, Pippo Pollina, Mirco Menna, “Il Parto delle nuvole pesante”, “Dr. Boost” and the Mexican band “La Carlota”.
