LARA MOLINO – HISTORY AND TRADITIONS OF CENTRAL ITALY

A singer-songwriter of the Italian folk-world scene, Lara started playing the guitar at the age of 13. When she begins to compose her first songs, she points out to “Sanremo Nuovi Talenti”. In addition to composing, she studies and re-adapts the stories of her Abruzzo: the use of the dialect of her land gives an impressive “visual ability” to her folk. In Lara’s songs, the faces and stories, also from tradition, find a new rocky but delicate identity.

Fòrte e gendìle (2017) is a record to listen to live and that, in the wake of the proverbial way of describing the people of Abruzzo, can speak to the roots that despite everything, we always carry with us.
