LUCILLA GALEAZZI – Most famous voice of the Italian folk

Lucilla Galeazzi

One of the most important, and eclectic voices of the new Italian and European folk, is Lucilla Galeazzi: an overwhelming and delicate musical interpreter, and a passionate researcher dedicated to the rediscovery and reinterpretation of traditional music. She began to sing on the trail of research, carried out in the Italian region of Umbria with the anthropologist Valentino Paparelli and the historian Sandro Portelli.

For decades, her passion and interpretive ability animate Italian popular music while enhancing the exterminated repertoire on the international scene. A great reference point and an Italian musical pride to be heard, especially live.
