Susanna Buffa

Musician, music journalist and interpreter of absolute versatility. S.B. is a well-rounded researcher on the Italian Folk scene. Susanna began to tread the stages in 2006 alongside Lucilla Galeazzi. In the sign of this artistic encounter, she deepens the vocal tradition of central Italy and matures a distinctive vocation imbued with civil commitment.

Susanna Buffa founded the vocal ensemble Levocidoro, the vocal trio Fiordispina with Nora Tigges and Sara Marchesi, and became interested in the electronic and underground scene working with Teho Teardo, Eugenio Valente and Marco Machera. She creates the TerreDonne collective that unites artists and musicians to support the populations affected by the earthquakes of 2016 and 2017. In 2018, she also sang for the English composer and producer Andrew Powell.
